As part of Argonne’s Green Ride Program, the lab has launched LabCab, an on-campus rideshare service designed to provide quick, convenient, and free rides around the Lemont campus. Get where you need to go, anywhere on campus.

We encourage you to begin using LabCab as needed, whether you are traveling to another building, seeking a ride across campus, or encounter inclement weather.

The LabCab service is available Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. It offers a range of benefits, including:

• Alternative Transportation: LabCab addresses the transportation needs of individuals on campus without a personal vehicle. The on-campus rideshare service is available to all employees, students, and visitors.
• Accessibility: Accessible vehicles are readily available upon request.
• Sustainability: Promotes eco-friendly practices across campus through our Green Ride initiative.

Ready to request your next LabCab?

1. Download the TripShot app from the Apple or Android app store for the LabCab rideshare service from your mobile device. Review the How-to Guide for step-by-step instructions.
2. Make your on-demand request or reserve a LabCab in advance through the TripShot app.
3. Arrive promptly at your designated pickup location. Vehicles will have a LabCab magnet on the side of the car. Note that drivers are unable to wait for late arrivals due to other scheduled requests.
4. Track your vehicle and arrival time through the TripShot app.
5. In case of changes or cancellations, update your reservation in the TripShot app as soon as possible.

LabCab does not serve as a substitute for the pre-booking system used for large events or conferences on campus, nor does it replace Guest House shuttle services. If you require onsite transportation for larger events, you will need to submit a Vector request. (Argonne login required.)
