The Argonne Guest House (AGH) will be closed beginning on August 29, 2016; the Guest House Restaurant will close beginning on August 30. Both will reopen on September 5, 2016.

The closing is necessary in order to replace the natural gas piping in the Argonne Boiler Plant, which will result in loss of hot water for AGH guests.

This closing coincides with the APS maintenance period (https://www.aps.anl.gov/Machine-Status/APS-Long-Range-Operations-Schedule), and was scheduled on these dates so that disruptions to users will be minimal.

Please note that the 401 Grill and the Building 213 Cafeteria will be open as usual.
