- When appropriate, refer users (especially independent investigators) to beamline staff for assistance.

- Notification to Systems Specialist
- File trouble reports using the RMD system.
- Monitor and approve work requests that describe work to be done on local beamlines (often a follow-up to filing a trouble report).
- Approve and post Configuration Control Work Permits when work is to be done on a RSS component (often a follow-up to filing a trouble report).
- Assist Conventional Facilities Group and the Main Control Room in monitoring the Liquid Nitrogen System. Respond to instructions if needed.
