SUNIL SINHA Research interests: Dr. Sinha's group's research, using the techniques of neutron and x-ray reflectivity, diffraction, diffuse scattering and x-ray photon correlation spectroscopy, is currently centered in three different areas: (1) studying the structure and dynamics of magnetic nanostructures; (2) studying phase behavior in mixed lipid bilayers containing cholesterol; and (3) studying the dynamics of nanoparticles entangled with polymer chains in polymer films, and wetting behavior at superhydrophobic surfaces. Current position: Distinguished Professor of Physics, Department of Physics, University of California, San Diego. Term: November 2014 - November 2016. |
