Duties of the Floor Coordinator may also be facilities-related
Contractors and Vendors
  • Know and understand the APS policy relating to contractors:
    • Contractors hired by an APS purchase order:Two-party hired by APS, APS contractor.
    • Contractors hired by a CAT purchase:Third party ANL, CAT contractor.
      • Understand Work Project Checklists.
      • Understand Job Specific Analysis.
      • Understand Work Entry Clearance.
  • Assist in arranging Service Request Orders with Building Management/Conventional Facilities Group.
  • Assist in arranging work by Central Shops at the beamlines.
  • Interface between contractors, Users, building manager and facility representatives.
Safety Responsibility
  • Update building emergency questionnaire (BEQ) and building emergency plans.
  • Fill the roll of Area Emergency Supervisor and Alternate Area Emergency Supervisor.
  • Arrange for TLD badges for new resident personnel or users needing TLDs.
  • Use IMTS system to report and respond to safety deficiencies.
  • Perform the duties of LOTO custodian.
  • Inspections
    • Egress, life safety, electrical panels, housekeeping, emergency lighting, GFCIs, eyewash stations, cranes, tool testing, bi-annual ES&H.
