- The CCWP can be generated via the Integrated Content Management System (ICMS) or by completing a hard copy of the CCWP form.
- RSSE's and RE's start the CCWP process for planned work by obtaining required approvals for CCWPs. Line management is responsible for work authorization on all radiation safety systems. Examples of such authorization that may be needed are Group Leader(s), group engineers and/or technicians, Associate Division Director, and Division Director. Approvals needed are determined by RSSE/RE procedures. Floor Coordinator approval is needed for all CCWPs posted for components without engineered controls. Certain components under configuration control require BSDRSC review prior to any work taking place on the component. The RSSE's and RE's ensure that the documentation for the review is referenced on the CCWP form, if necessary.
- If approvals are obtained via ICMS, the FC group will get an ICMS email requesting FC approval on a CCWP. The FC will then approve work that has a complete, detailed job description, including all work requests, checklists, and review team approvals that need to be referenced, after verifying that line management approvals were obtained. The FC should reject CCWPs that are vague, missing pertinent information, or missing approvals for work to start. When the FC is ready to approve a CCWP via ICMS workflow, they should type their name in the comments section, and also indicate if the beamline should be global online or offline, and indicate which stations of the beamline should be APS enabled and disabled.
- The FC can generate a hard copy of the CCWP, once a “Content Release Notification” is received via email, to post in the beamline end cabinet. The FC should print the approver(s) name(s) or initial(s) along with the date of approval on the CCWP under step 2 work approvals.
- If approvals are obtained for a handwritten CCWP, the approvers name(s) or initial(s) along with the date of approval need to be printed on the CCWP under step 2 work approvals prior to posting. The FC should verify completeness of the job description, that all line management approvals are already obtained, and indicate if the beamline should be global online or offline, and indicate which stations of the beamline should be APS enabled and disabled. The FC will sign at step 3 for their authorization to start work. The CCWP can then be posted in the beamline end cabinet.
