The 58th Annual Magnetism and Magnetic Materials (MMM) Conference was held in Downtown Denver, Colorado. It took place from November 4-8, 2013. Members of the international scientific and engineering communities interested in recent developments in fundamental and applied magnetism were invited to attend the conference and contributed to its technical sessions.

Marvin Cummings was invited to give a presentation in the special symposium “Exploring new Frontiers in Magnetism using X-rays”. In his talk he described the unique potential of SXSTM for the study of nanoscale magnetic materials.
