APS SPEC Resources

The APS has a limited site license for SPEC with Certified Scientific Software. Our cousins at the ESRF have many useful SPEC related items on their web site.
BCDA SPEC Resources
  • MACROS - macro repository of APS Beamline/CAT spec code.
  • BCDA spec WIKI - APS SPEC documentation and beamline/CAT installation instructions.
  • TRAC spec code WIKI - Contains BCDA spec concepts, tools, common error messages, reference guides.
  • specdomain - An extension of Sphinx to document SPEC macro source code files.
  • CCD Detectors - SPEC macro support is also available to trigger a CCD detector (controlled by CCD Image Server) during spec scans and instruct CCD Image Server to save the images.
