Abstract:
This talk will give a brief overview of the Mechatronic systems developed at Diamond such as a maglev vibration isolation stage, as well as the advanced simulation tools to better predict dynamic mechanical and thermal performance such as dynamic error budgeting and thermal mode shapes.  With more accurate simulation comes performance improvements, shorter design times and reduced project risk.
