The International Workshop on Nanoscale Spectroscopy and Nanotechnology (NSS) is a biennial meeting series to share the information on latest research advances of science and technology in the nanometer regime. The scope includes electronic, optical, magnetic, mechanical and transport properties of nanoscale systems and nanoscale devices, as well as nano-manipulation. From July 28 to 31, 2014, the 8th NSS workshop took place in Chicago’s Gleacher Center. Saw-Wai Hla and Volker Rose served as Chair and Co-Chair of this prestigious conference which attracted participants from 15 different countries. |
