Due to the age of the CCW piping system, there is debris from pipe deterioration running through the pipes. This debris can cause damage to the chillers, pumps, and heat exchangers. Additionally, due to the current water condition, significant fouling has occurred in the chiller tubes, coils and heat exchangers. Founding reduces the heat transfer efficiency and increases operating costs. The proposed solution will strain and remove debris from the chilled water system to reduce any further equipment damage. |
