Pat Dehmer discusses the State of Women in Science and Technology
Patricia Dehmer has an amazing story and celebrated career. Dr. Dehmer began her career as a postdoctoral fellow at Argonne National Laboratory after receiving her Ph.D. in Chemical Physics from the University of Chicago in 1972. She rose through the ranks at Argonne and then moved on to DOE serving in leadership roles including the head of the Office of Basic Energy Sciences (BES) and the Deputy Director for Science Programs.
