Do you mean it sends back the five ASCII characters '0', '0', ' ', 'e', '6' or do you mean it sends back two bytes, one of which has hex value 00, the other E6?
In the latter case the StreamDevice "%2r" (or "%02r" if the values are unsigned) should work. In the former I think that you'll have to stash the two bytes separately into two records and use a calc record to merge them.
