Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System
|
Hi, We have a new motion control applications where our initial goal is using just the three-axis, open-loop driver in the Newport/New Focus iPico Ethernet-based pico-motor controller. These allow dumb remote control of motorized optics positioning. The 8752 controller is part of the 8763-KIT listed here: http://www.newport.com/Intelligent-Picomotor-iPico-Modules/918547/1033/info.aspx I notice that the motor package has support for this NewFocus 8752 controller. Does anyone have experience with this? Is this a model 2 or model 3 asyn driver? Are there any new updates to the driver? Cheers, Diane |
