problem with labview and epics

Hi, I am a student work on Jtext Tokamak a fusion research center in China.

 now we are working on a control system based on epics.

 

 i'm using labview2009 with DSC module .I added an epics server,and created a a share variable then try to add it to the PV list ,but it keeps telling me that i can't because the data type is not supported .I read the help document,found that i am using the right type and i tried all data types but none would work.

I don't know if i have done anything wrong. 

I am using the chinese evaluation version of labview 2009.
