Subject: Two EDM questions

1. I was asked to present data in an EDM screen as a bar graph. That is, the bars start at zero and extend to the value for that particular point; it can be positive or negative. I need to use auto scale. Now, I tried setting trace type as "needles", which gives me a bar graph, but it chooses some arbitrary negative baseline from which bars for all points are drawn. The baseline it chose is somewhat below the lowest point. Is there a way to produce a "true" bar graph in EDM which might look something like this?

               x
               | x
               | | x
               | | |
   0 ------------------------
                  | | |
                  x | x
                      x

2. I would like to use the UpDown button control. I have connected it to a control PV which is the VAL in a ao record. I have assumed that right and left buttons as referred to in the online help are mouse buttons. Perhaps, they are not. I want to use the UpDown button to increment or decrement the control PV. I only can get the drop down menu, which has entries like Save, Restore, etc. How does one use it to increment/decrement?

Any suggestion will be much appreciated,

Zen
