Subject: how to stop ca monitor

I am using KEK ca python module.  Does anybody know how to
stop a monitor?  That is, a monitor is set by:

ca.Monitor('variable_name', callback)

Now I want to stop this monitor.  I tried:

ca.Monitor('variable_name', None)

This redirects output to stdout.
