Steve,
Jinhu Song and I prepared a demo of LabVIEW to CA connectivity for last
year's SNS meeting at Berkeley. The solutions consists of two parts:
- A lightweight LabVIEW client library (these are native labview virtual
instruments that run on all supported platforms incl. Macintosh, Windows,
Linux, Solaris, etc)
- A gateway that currently runs on Solaris
Similar tools are currently used to integrate labview applications with the
AGS and RHIC control systems.
Let me know if you would like to evaluate this solution at Berekeley.
