Subject: when to dfan?

until now I've only used relatively simple databases. Data which has to
go to more than 1 record I've simply hardwired using capfast. I now have
a database which has the problem of data not reaching one of the records.

The questions are: should data always be dfan'ned when there is more than
1 destination or is there a threshold of destinations above which the
data should be dfan'ned? My capfast only has a symbol for a fan record,
not the dfan record. Do I use the same symbol and edit the appropriate
property or am I missing a symbol?

cheers
