The GNU regex library is an extended regular expression matching and search library. The files in this extension that came from GNU have not been modified. The only significant contribution is an EPICS-contributed Makefile and Makefile.Host that allow regex.h and regex.c to be built in the EPICS build system. The GNU regex library may be used to build the Process Variable Gateway.
