Safety, Tom Barkalow, Edmund Chang

We are experiencing a recurring issue with the compressed gas cylinders. Some of these issues include:

  • Improperly stored containers.
  • Doors missing from the storage cases.
  • Rusty cylinders on leaves.

Rossi is looking for solutions to solve this problem and would like suggestions to prevent it in the future.

The programming on the LOM cardkey is designed to default during tornados. This procedure will be tested to ensure it is working properly.

There are five columns with lit exit signs; please make sure the aisles where these columns are located are clear of any obstructed items.

Shutter Auto-Open Problem, Pete Jemian

Jemian is designing software that has the capability to set an expiration date and time for the auto-open shutters on the beamline. The commands will remain the same; however, they will be automated. The changes will be put together and proposed for safety review. The software should be available by the 2007-1 cycle.
