BP reported that station D door close button for was not working; could not complete a search-and-secure.

PSS technician filed Work Request #16145 for adjustment of door close button hardware. Button adjusted and tested for proper operation.

Safety E. Chang:   Laser restart initiative in good shape, lasers are up and running for those that need to be checked quickly.   He will do the write-ups for safety inspections in 436 and 438.   Rock Road will be closed tomorrow and the next few days for natural gas pipeline installation.   Email will be sent alerting us of road closures due to CNM construction.   LOM 435 machine shop requesting purchase of lathe that will be added to requests from sectors 17 and 18.

Beamlines were tested, out of 45 shutters; one-half were clear enough to activate the shutters.   Rod Salazar reports that problems were found, and corrected immediately.   This was a good exercise.
