There was an announcement that ongoing major maintenance projects related to roads, sidewalks, and storm water systems.   User read in the Argonne News publication that some of New Brunswick Lab parking will be diverted to buildings 450 and 350 lots.   How long can we expect this to last?

APS Experimental Floor Operations Statistical Data:   Kevin Beyer presented a new APS system on-line that will permit extraction of filtered data so that beamline downtime reports can be easily created according to information required.  

Safety E. Chang :   Electrical safety criteria highlights--
Items blocking electrical disconnects or circuit breakers
Open electrical boxes or panels exposing wires
Power cords passing through walls or ceilings
Live front electrical plugs
Out of date or no hot work permit
GFCI's not used within 6' of a sink location.
Frayed power or extension cords
Ganged (multiple) extension cords
Personal appliances not UL approved.
Use of unapproved extension cords.
Lack of current year GFCI inspection sticker.

CNM Construction Impact A notice will be sent announcing Kearnery Road to be closed beginning approximately June, 2004, due to construction. As more trailers are being set up, expect to see more traffic due to CNM construction.
