The beam is up and we are running smoothly with no faults thus far with the normal singlet fill pattern and refills taking place every 12 hours. A few minor operational problems are apparent. The injection efficiency is lower than normal, so the injections will require more care to ensure that radiation monitors are not tripped. In addition, that is an apparent horizontal beam instability, which is showing up at high current levels. Both of these problems will be looked into during next Tuesdays studies period. The studies will last for 8 hours starting at 0800.
The information on the operating beam parameters (emittance, coupling, beam stability, etc.) is being updated together with the PVs. We will provide more details when they are available.
