Beamline 11-ID-B: Dedicated PDF Beamline

Description

11-ID-B is a dedicated pair-distribution-function (PDF) beamline operating at fixed energies of 58.66 and 86.7 keV. Variable temperature measurements are supported (including low- and high-temperature 80K to 1200K).

Beamline Controls and Data Acquisition

Linux workstation running SPEC software;
 QXRD for data acquisition;
 PDFgetX2 for data processing

Detectors

  • Perkin Elmer amorphous silicon detector

Additional Equipment

  • Flowcell/Controlled Atmospheres
  • Oxford cryosystems cryostream 700 plus
    (80 K to 500 K operations)
  • Diamond Anvil Cells (<10 GPa)
  • 4-circle Diffractometer
